SEC Week 6 Game of the Week: LSU Tigers at Florida Gators
While one could argue that Alabama at South Carolina is the game of the week in the SEC, Alabama has been in the game of the week in week four and week five, so it is time for a non-Alabama game. The Tigers of LSU enter the Swamp at 5-0, 3-0 in the SEC, and the Gators come in at 4-1 overall and 2-1 in SEC play. Both teams have struggled on the offensive side of the football, and both are among the top defensive teams in the country. The storyline of the game could be Florida's punter, Chas Henry versus LSU's all everything, Patrick Patterson. no comments
After last week's 21-10-1 record against the spread(there was no line or over/under for the Alcorn State at Mississippi State), I thought I would give it another shot with a new twist. I will pick all of the SEC games as well as high profile games from around the country with at least one from each BCS conference. For on eof the games from around the country, I have decided to add a new feature called the "Are You Kidding Me? Game of the Week", where I will give a little insight into a completely meaningless game with mostly irrelevant teams. This offers me a chance to study two teams that I would otherwise never look into.

Big East
Who cares, right? Anyways, with Dion Lewis out with a shoulder injury, fellow sophomore Ray Graham rushed for 277 and three touchdowns as Pitt knocked off winless Florida International 44-17.
Sadly, the biggest Big East win this week was UConn's 40-21 victory at home over the Vanderbilt Commodores. In his first start, junior Cody Endres threw for 196 and two touchdowns and fellow junior Jordan Todman successfully returned from injury to rush for 190 yards and two scores.

Starting this week, I will be making picks against the spread. Each week, I will choose ten games from around the country, including no less than one from each BCS conference which will be listed as the conference's game of the week.I, along with the help of many friends over the years, have been plugging along here at SECRivals ... just over seven years to be exact ... a LOT has happened since 2003. A LOT. Simply put, it is time.

For the past two seasons, the Gators of Florida and the Crimson Tide of Alabama have met in the SEC Championship game, not only to decide the conference champion, but ultimately the national champion as well.
