SEC Football is entering the dark week as most teams play a cupcake, a top team plays a cellar dweller, etc.  The game of the week this week is definitely the Alabama Crimson Tide versus the LSU Tigers.  Without much ado, here we go.

Coming into this week, SECRivals is 56-11 on the season picking SEC football games straight up (83.6%) on the season and was 6-1 last week.

SECRivalsTake a long look at this banner because it will be the last time you will ever see it outside of an archive.

For those that know us, you know that we have searched for quite sometime for a true home.  While SECRivals has always been a top shelf site, we have always tried to push to the next level.

For those that do not know us (yet), SECR has been online since 2003.  Yes, in internet terms, we're old.  While longevity is nice, we could not have made it this far without our members.  Plain and simple.

In the beginning, there was Mike and Gil running a message board and laying waste to every SEC related site on the internet.  We have had our ups and downs, but have always managed to make our way.  While we lost Mike several years ago ... and miss him dearly, we have still found our way.

It has been 16 months since we first launched our blog ... granted, we had no clue what we were doing at that time ... do we now?  That's debatable among our competitors.  In those sixteen short months, we have grown the site to heights that we knew were possible.  Now it is time to push beyond that bump stop and keep going.

We have searched high and low to find a network that fit us ... never finding the right fit until now.  We have found that network and it is Bloguin.  The leaders of this network and the blogs within it are all top notch.  If you run a sports blog of any type and produce your own content, give the owners of Bloguin a shout and join the party!

Pull up a chair, jump into the forums, jump into the conversation ... we don't care if you are an SEC homer, a Big Ten apologist, or a PAC-10 zealot, this is an all comer's meet:

Don't be afraid, we don't bite hard and the last time that we checked, are STD free.
