Which SEC Coach is Most Likely to Bail on His Team?

Everywhere you go on the web all you see are "Coaches on the Hot Seat", "Coaches on the Fulmer Cup List".

What about picking which SEC coaches are most likely to bail on their team (if the money and location are right)?

#5 Houston Nutt, Ole Miss
While the chances are virtually against this happening, we have seen stranger things happen.

Nutt was fed up with the Administration at Arkansas (and some of the boosters) to the point he willingly bolted the door.  Never mind that the cupboard was absolutely bare at the time.

If the Ole Miss fans and boosters get too hard to bear, then yes, Nutt will leave them a Y.O.M. (you owe me) on his desk as he walks out the door.

Chances of that happening within the next two years?  Somewhere between slim and none.

#4 Nick Saban, Alabama
Read my lips, I'm not leaving LSU.  Read my lips, I am the coach of the Miami Dolphins.  See a trend here?

Granted, leaving the Dolphins must have been easy, but Crimson Tide fans must keep the idea somewhere in the backs of their minds.  What if they wake up one day and Saban has left for.....say, Notre Dame or Michigan?  Don't laugh, it's a real possibility.  While those two venues are not his dream jobs, never discount the ability of the all mighty dollar.

#3 Bobby Johnson, Vanderbilt University
Who would Johnson turn his notice in to?  The University Athletic Dep Boosters?  Johnson has accomplished just about as much as he can in Nashville.

If he over stays his welcome, he will end up coaching one of the lower division schools that no one has ever heard of.  Johnson's name did pop up on a few vacancies at the end of last season.

#2 Mark Richt, Georgia Bulldogs
Now wouldn't that one be a stunner?  What if UGA fans get tired of Richt bringing them to exactly the edge of ultimate success and not beyond?

Do you honestly think that Richt would simply sit there in his monotone and take it?

Or do you think he would grow tired of listening to it?  It isn't like he does not have the ability to find other gainful employment ... when  you see Richt firing assistants at the end of this season (or next), the end isjust around the corner.

#1 Urban Meyer, Florida Gators
Come on, like you didn't see this one coming.

Urban Meyer has stated that Notre Dame is his dream job numerous times.  Then he stated that he was NEVER leaving Florida.....to make sure that recruiting wasn't getting killed.  Can Meyer pass on the Notre Dame job when it comes open?

To boot, you know he has to be watching what the fans are putting Billy Donovan through.....the name of the game is to get out while you are on TOP, not flailing for answers.

Is your team's coach on this list?  You calling B$ on it?  Throw your comments in here and be heard!
